Karen Wallingford will oversee NFPA Journal Update. She will also be resposible for content on NFPA website. 

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has named Karen Wallingford as new associate project manager in the web publishing division. She will oversee NFPA Journal Update, NFPA's monthly member exclusive e-newsletter.

Wallingford will work to develop new and creative ideas and strategies, and will expand and refine NFPA's e-newsletter efforts. She will also be responsible for managing content on various NFPA websites.

As a public relations and marketing manager at Visions Healthcare, Wallingford was responsible for the copy and creative design of many promotional and outreach materials, including web content, e-newsletters, news releases and brochures. Prior to her work in public relations, Wallingford lived in the San Francisco Bay area where she worked in event planning and periodically wrote for a weekly arts magazine.
