Eurotech has established a wide sales network in Middle East, Asia and Europe |
A new fire detection protocol is changing the shape of the fire industry with the launch of MESH from Eurotech Fire Systems Ltd.
In a move that offers the best of both 'closed' and 'open' fire detection protocols, Making Every System Happen (MESH) has been developed by the new UK-based company to provide leading-edge, single-brand detection systems to fire and security installers worldwide.
Under the new protocol, Eurotech has launched a newly patented Dual-Wavelength Optical Detector system which offers a 'flat response' to detect all types of fires, while reducing 'false alarms' by accurately distinguishing smoke from steam, dust, aerosol spray and natural or electrical light variations.
The new detector is just one of a range of fire detection products being offered under the MESH, providing independent installers the reassurance of fully-approved technology under a single brand, but without being tied to the manufacturer for all system components or long-term maintenance contracts.
Eurotech Fire System's Managing Director, Michelle Agius, has put together arguably the most experienced team in the fire detection industry, including Design Manager Alan Capaldi-Tallonwho has some 10 individual US and UK fire patents to his name, along with Tim Williams, Phil Walford, Vincent Agius, Terry Huppler and Fiona McGregor.
Working with world class partners, Eurotech has established a sales network in the Middle East, Asia and across Europe, with further partnerships currently being agreed.
"We are determined to revolutionise the fire detection industry", states Agius. "What really matters to us is saving lives and businesses and we believe the best way to do that is to provide unfettered access to the latest technology for architects, specifiers and installers.
"Business and public building design has changed dramatically and fire detection technology has to match those changes. This means that a totally reliable, approved single source of technology is important because it is supported by an experienced team. What is really important is finding the right combination that saves a life, and Eurotech's MESH protocol allows that freedom."
