Liana Palaikis, PhD, new Director of Product Development for EarthClean Corporation
Palaikis is responsible for the research and development of innovative fire suppression technologies

EarthClean Corporation is a Minnesota-based company whose mission is to develop and introduce environmentally friendly and biodegradable technologies that help firefighters attack, suppress, and contain fires.

EarthClean recently announced that Liana Palaikis, PhD has joined the company as Director of Product Development. Palaikis will report to Scott Bocklund, EarthClean President.  Prior to joining EarthClean, Palaikis held key product development team and business unit leadership roles at 3M for a diverse range of both consumer and industrial products.

“We’re very excited to announce that Liana has joined the EarthClean team as our first Director of Product Development. With 20 plus years of experience in product development, global business development, and technical product management, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to EarthClean,” said Doug Ruth, EarthClean Corporation founder and CEO. “With six U.S. patents awarded as a result of Liana’s work, we see her as an excellent fit for EarthClean as we continue to scale-up TetraKO and develop new products.”

As director of product development, Palaikis is responsible for the research and development of innovative fire suppression technologies, the development of new intellectual property, as well as oversight of manufacturing scale-up.

Palaikis holds a PhD in Chemistry with specialisation in Surface Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  She enjoys perennial gardening, terriers and dog agility; and she and her husband have a sophomore son in college.
