24-7 Fire is the new professional education and fire training series from HSI
24-7 Fire is a new series of professional training programme developed with the assistance of the new 24-7 Fire Advisory Board.

Health and Safety Institute (HSI) family of brands, inclusive of American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI), MEDIC First Aid, 24-7 EMS, is proud to announce the release of 24-7 Fire. This new professional education and fire training series from Health & Safety Institute has been developed with the assistance of the newly appointed 24-7 Fire Advisory Board.

"These individuals bring a wealth of experience, dynamic leadership, and diversity in the fire service industry to this important new project," states Jeff Lindsey, Chief Learning Officer for HSI. "They provide insight to the fire industry that will develop 24-7 Fire as a leader in fire service training programs," said Lindsey.

Members of the 24-7 Fire Advisory Board:

  • Adam K. Thiel - Chair: Former Virginia State Fire Director, and active Fire Chief in the national capital region
  • Cheryl Horvath - President: Division Chief, Operations, for the Northwest Fire District in Tucson, Arizona

    The new board provided insight to the fire industry that will help develop 24-7 Fire as a leader in fire service training programmes

  • William F. Jenaway: Executive Vice President of VFIS. (VFIS provides insurance and risk management services to Fire and EMS agencies)
  • Kenneth R. Knipper: Past Chief of the Silver Grove Volunteer Fire Department and 2008 inductee to the Kentucky Firefighters Hall of Fame
  • I. David Daniels: Fire Chief and Emergency Services Administrator in the City of Renton, Washington
  • Richard W. Patrick: Retired Deputy Fire Chief of Estero Fire Rescue District in Estero, FL
  • Ken Bouvier: Fire Chief for Monsanto Company in Luling, Louisiana
  • Ronald E. Gill Jr.: Director of Fleet Management for the District of Columbia Fire and EMS Department
