Fourth annual Navistar Service-Technician Rodeo will be held on June 8, 2010
Navistar International Corporation is a world leader in vehicle manufacturing

In a head-to-head, hands-on test of their technical skill and speed, eleven of the top service technicians in the international dealer network will compete to determine who is the best of the best at the fourth annual Navistar Service-Technician Rodeo on June 8, 2010.

To test their skills in key areas of commercial truck and engine service, International dealer technicians from across North America will gather at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, IL., to compete at stations simulating service areas for air conditioning, brakes, drive train, electrical MaxxForce engines.

"Only an elite group of Diamond-Certified technicians are allowed to participate in this event," said Vaughn Allen, vice president, product and customer support, Navistar. "This means all participants have Automotive Service Excellence certification for the United States or Canadian Provincial Licensing for Canada and are International certified in all of our categories."

Out of 400 eligible technicians, 202 took the rodeo online qualifying exam on April 6 and 7. Of those, eleven were chosen to represent each region of the U.S. and Canada at this year's rodeo.
