C. Miesen GmbH & Co. KG were able to manufacture two new intensive transport trolleys for their Dutch customer RAVU Ambulancezorg Utrecht. The basic vehicle for these special vehicles is a chassis based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 519 CDI with a wheelbase of 4,325 mm.

The expansion of the two state-of-the-art special vehicles is tailored to the extreme requirements of laying intensively required patients.

Features

  • Intensive care patients can be safely and comfortably loaded and unloaded via a loading board at the rear of the vehicle, both in the intensive bed and on a stretcher.
  • For the best possible protection and increase of safety, these special vehicles have an integrated special optical signal system.
  • Numerous LED flashlights on the front and rear ensure that you are perceived in the best possible way, even in poor visibility conditions.
  • The requirements for intensive transport are complex. Therefore, both the equipment and the medical equipment carried goes far beyond the usual level of an ambulance.
  • In order to be as flexible as possible, both vehicles are prepared to transport either a stretcher or an intensive bed. In addition to the corresponding ground fixations, recessed seated belt brackets in the floor group provide additional safety.
  • In the patient room, there are connection options for all common medical and technical devices, numerous cabinet modules offer quick and direct access to all equipment.
  • Particular emphasis is placed on the design of ergonomic working conditions and safe accommodation of equipment for the implementation of intensive medical measures during transport in and outside the vehicle.
