Marioff announced Germany’s tallest residential building, located in Frankfurt am Main’s Europaviertel district, is now protected by its HI-FOG® water mist fire protection system. 

Soaring at a height of 180 meters, the Grand Tower boasts more than 400 apartments, including several penthouses, and is an impressive part of the Frankfurt am Main skyline. Marioff, a leading developer of water mist fire protection technology, is a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), the leading global provider of healthy, safe and sustainable building and cold chain solutions.

Included Products

The HI-FOG system will help protect the Grand Tower’s apartments and technical areas, parking garage, retail shops, the grand entrance area with a height of 11 meters, and a live show cooking area on the seventh-floor roof terrace. The project includes 18 kilometers of pipes, more than 5,000 HI-FOG sprinklers, and technologically advanced Modular Sprinkler Pump Units (MSPU) to ensure 100% redundancy by the local codes and VdS standard for high-rise buildings.
