The professional fire-fighters of Witten placed great importance on a low overall height for their new HLF, and due to a modification of the roof loading and re-positioned blue lights, the vehicle was created as specified with a height of just 2.9 m.

The IVECO 160 E 30 on-road chassis, with an engine performance of 300 HP and an Allison MD 3060 automatic transmission, provides outstanding handling characteristics, is very manoeuvrable and is ideal for the urban environment in and around Witten.

The use of a metallic surface instead of a paint finish gives the vehicle a more individual appearance, as well as the ability to provide a stronger visual warning.
