LION had the honor of attending the by-invitation only IAFF Instructors Development Conference in Clearwater, Florida November 18-21. The annual event supports first responder instructors with HazMat specific training, including the opportunity to meet with industry leaders & vendors.

Offering advanced protection

Speaking to influencers regarding the state of the industry, LION had a chance to showcase achieving National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1994 Standard’s Class 1 certification for its MT94 (Multi-Threat) CBRN ensemble, offering first responders advanced protection against some of the world's worst chemical and biological threats.

LION’s MTs were featured in many of the HazMat expert trainer’s presentations displaying the line’s streamlined design combining durability, mobility & comfort. Departments represented included many current LION customers- FDNY, Denver Fire, Chicago Fire, Des Moines Fire, & Nashville Fire, who were pleased to learn about the recent Class 1 certification.
