At the end of May 2021, the rescue teams of SDIS 06 (Alpes Maritimes Departmental Fire and Rescue Service - FRANCE) carried out the rescue of a buried victim under an excavator.
The LEADER WASP stability controller enabled rescuers to monitor the slightest movements of the construction machine threatening to collapse on the victim and the rescue teams.
Movement monitoring system
LEADER WASP instantly warns USAR teams of movements and vibrations of the unstable structure
After fixing the LEADER WASP to the unstable craft, the rescue team on site was able to focus on rescuing the entombed victim in complete safety. Indeed, the LEADER WASP is designed to ensure the safety of rescuers in various scenarios.
The LEADER WASP, a movement monitoring system, instantly warns USAR teams of movements and vibrations of the unstable structure under surveillance thanks to its powerful alarm.
Easy to deploy, and simple to use
It continuously detects the slightest movements of the unstable structure to which it is attached and can detect rotational movements over 360° in 3 directions and/or vibrations from 0.5 Hz to 100 Hz.
It triggers audible and visual alarms as soon as the movement exceeds the threshold selected for a given scenario. The LEADER WASP’s magnetic base makes it quick and easy to attach to metal, and the device also comes with various mounting accessories for attaching it to glass, metal, concrete, and other materials. Portable, lightweight, easy to deploy, and simple to use.
