Constructionline is the UK’s most connected provider of procurement and supply chain management services. The online platform introduced two new levels of accreditation in order to accommodate their network’s broadening needs back in Autumn 2017, Laidlaw has achieved the level-three gold membership ever since.

Maintaining a gold standard involves comprehensive assessments in areas such as environmental management, diversity and equality, and quality management as well as increased scrutiny around third-party governance and risk management by extending the mandatory PQQ.

Reduced energy consumption

In order to attain the gold standard, Laidlaw was reassessed and gained an Acclaim Health & Safety Accreditation which is SSIP compliant. The accreditations mean buyers and traders can have confidence that Laidlaw is a safe contractor, which is verified against the British Standards Institute. The robust policies and systems that Laidlaw have in place provide assurance and security to prospective and current customers.

As a team, Laidlaw is continually striving for excellence and working towards best practice and the recent accreditation renewals reflect this. Currently, Laidlaw is focused on and invested in reducing its environmental impact through reduced energy consumption, waste management initiatives and decreased water usage.
