KME, a subsidiary of REV Group, Inc., and a manufacturer of fire apparatus, will display its latest customized line up of fire apparatus at FDIC International 2024 (Fire Department Instructors Conference 2024) in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, from April 18 - April 20, 2024, at Booth #3901. 

KME is known for building modified fire apparatus that answers the specific needs of the fire department,” said Larry Daniels, Senior Director of Global Sales, REV Fire Group, adding “We continue to meet the varied requirements of our customers and look forward to attendees seeing our unique line up at FDIC.”

KME will showcase the following fire apparatus:

  • Aerialcat Midmount Platform from Hazleton Fire Department, Pennsylvania: Built on a KME Severe Service XMFD chassis with flat roof cab and seating for five, this rig features an 84-foot steel aerial platform with 1,000-pound capacity, full depth compartments on both sides, and storage for more than 150’ of ground ladders.
  • PRO Pumper from Napanoch Fire Department, New York: This truck features the XLFD chassis with 16” raised roof and seating for eight, 16” front bumper extension with discharge and storage, 1,500 GPM pump on a compact enclosed pump panel, 500-gallon water tank, and full-length rooftop compartments.
  • Custom Pumper from Noblesville Fire Department, Indiana: Built on a Severe Service XMFD chassis with 10” raised roof, this rig features a 750-gallon water tank, 1500 GPM pump, full height compartments on driver’s side and two lowered crosslays.

In addition, attendees and customers are invited to visit REV Fire Group Booth #4200 to celebrate first responders and to see the all-electric North American style Vector fire truck built for Toronto Fire Services.

Continuing past years’ theme ‘Protecting Those Who Protect Us,’ REV Fire Group will host ‘REV It Up Coffee and Conversation with FDIC Live’ each morning, and ‘REV It Up Happy Hour’ and live product walk-arounds on Thursday and Friday, including live interviews with National Fire Radio.
