Kidde Fire Protection (KFP) UK is pleased to appoint Firecheck Contracts Ltd. and Fire Protection Group (FPG) Ltd. to distribute its gaseous fire suppression systems throughout the UK. Kidde Fire Protection is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

Colin Mitchell, managing director, FPG, commented, “Our reputation is built on a basis of honesty, trust and partnership with our suppliers, who we value very highly. We only work with the best in the business and being chosen by Kidde as a distributor is a great accolade that will have significant benefits for our extensive customer base, both now and in the future.”

This optimism was echoed by Mark Thompson, director, Firecheck who said, "Firecheck has a long relationship with KFP, which has led to this agreement. As a distributor for Kidde, we will now be able to provide our customers a streamlined and efficient process to procure Kidde equipment and systems.  This is an excellent opportunity for both companies to offer the very best in fixed extinguishing systems in the UK market."

This latest announcement is one aspect of KFP’s ongoing focus on customer service. In addition, KPF UK has implemented new processes and procedures, and improved existing ones across its facilities, which has resulted in a 75 percent reduction in standard lead times for fulfilling customer orders.

”Our logistics and order fulfillment operations now make it easier than ever before for valued customers to procure our suppression systems,” said David Adkins, general manager, Global Fire Suppression, UTC Climate, Controls & Security. “Together with the appointment of our new distributors, this will position Kidde Fire Protection to provide best in class customer service in UK.”
