Jonathan brings with him a wealth of Fire Industry experience
Jonathan will lead Kentec’s business development team and work closely with company’s in-house sales operation

Kentec Electronics Ltd., the UK’s leading Fire control panel manufacturer, has appointed Jonathan Gilbert as General Manager, Global Sales, to head up the company’s business development team and work closely with Kentec’s in-house sales operation.

Jonathan brings with him a wealth of Fire Industry experience. Over the last 16 years he has combined both his technical and business skills in the Commercial, Industrial and Oil & Gas, Marine and Offshore sectors for applications spanning Fire, Security and Building Management Systems.

For more than 20 years Jonathan’s focus has been international, including an overseas posting in Asia, which helped him develop an understanding of the many subtleties required in different markets.

Jonathan said, 'I am extremely excited at joining a great team designing and manufacturing market leading products, with a reputation for quality and on-time delivery.  I look forward to working with my new colleagues and all our customers to help ensure sustainable growth for all.'

Graduating from the University of London with a B.Sc.(Hons) Jonathan also has a BA in Mathematics and briefly worked as a Maths and Science teacher before going on to pursue his business career.

Family man Jonathan recently celebrated his 30th wedding anniversary by taking a hiking holiday with his wife in the northern territories of Australia.
