Jactone Products is a 3M approved original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of Pre-Engineered PAFSS fire suppression systems using 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid as the extinguishant.

3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid

When Jactone launched the PAFSS automatic fire suppression systems range several years ago, one of the environments it designed the systems to protect were those requiring a clean agent extinguishant, this included electrical systems.

The clean agent extinguishant it chose to use was 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid. 3M Novec 1230 fluid was selected to use in PAFSS for its fire extinguishing performance, environmental benefits, and safety.

sustainable solution

3M Novec 1230 fluid does not harm the ozone layer and has the lowest global warming potential

Significantly, 3M Novec 1230 fluid is an electrically non-conductive clean agent. If discharged, it leaves no residue behind and does no damage to electronic equipment or the data stored on it. It is also an environmentally sustainable solution. 3M Novec 1230 fluid does not harm the ozone layer and has the lowest global warming potential of all chemical clean agents.

It uses 3M Novec 1230 fluid in the PAFSS Direct Low Pressure (DLP) automatic fixed fire suppression systems that are certified to LPCB standard LPS 1666.

LPS 1666 certified PAFSS systems

PAFSS DLP systems are designed to protect electrical panels, enclosures, and cabinets, including those used for distribution, control, communication, and servers. As a 3M approved OEM, it understands the unique chemistry of 3M Novec 1230 fluid, designing the LPS 1666 certified PAFSS systems to optimize its extinguishing performance.

As the first system in the world to be certified to LPS 1666, Jactone PAFSS, with the use of 3M Novec 1230 fluid, has become a market-leading solution.

Jactone PAFSS electrical fire suppression systems, offer peace of mind with a fully tested, approved, and certified solution for the fire protection of electrical enclosures and business-critical assets.
