Integrated Fire Safety Systems Ltd, a provider in the design, installation, commissioning, and service of fire safety systems has announces it has attained Loss Prevention Standard (LPS) 1014 certified status.

This is part of its ongoing strategy to expand its list of accreditations and certifications and provide customers with the reassurance that they comply with, and correctly manage system design, installation, commissioning and servicing of fire detection and alarm systems.

Fire and security products

Following an influx of projects and service contracts, including NHS sites, apartment blocks, and high-end residential, it was a prime opportunity to apply for this certification, amongst others. These certifications ensure that products and services have met, and will continue to meet these standards through regular audits by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LCPB),” said Integrated Fire Safety Systems’ Director, James Broadest.

The LPS 1014 certification sets a benchmark for consistency, competency and professionalism

The LPCB, part of BRE Global, sets the standards needed to ensure that fire and security products and services perform effectively. The LPS 1014 certification sets a benchmark for consistency, competency and professionalism in the industry.

We are thrilled to have achieved the LPS 1014 certification, we regard it as the highest level of certification achievable within this sector. Unlike other schemes, LPS 1014 demonstrates and audits competence for the design, supply, install, commission, service and maintenance. It’s a key business driver for us and adds to our growing credibility and reputation as a leader in the industry,” Broadest said.

Compliant fire safety systems

It not only instills huge confidence in our customers, but puts us in a great position for specifiers looking to select reliable and competent contractors to ensure adequate and compliant fire safety systems are put in place, maintained and serviced by firms with a proven track record to undertake the work,” he continued.

Projects carried out by Integrated Fire Safety Systems will be independently audited by BRE, with the auditors specifically looking for a demonstrable record keeping system for all areas covered in the standard, and demonstrate a long-term track record of performance, as well as evidence of reliability and stability. Integrated Fire Safety Systems’ are members of the ECA, FSA, FPA, FIA, and are in the midst of gaining BAFSA and Construction Line Gold accreditation.
