Breaking new ground: CEBIT 2018, the world's largest trade fair for information technology, is changing and will be held from June 11 to 15 as a business festival for innovation and digitalization at the Hanover Exhibition Center.

As an innovative company that is constantly facing new challenges, the WAGNER Group will be presenting itself on-site at the 360° DC joint stand. Its focus: fire protection solutions of the future for data centers.

fire-fighting systems

As a system manufacturer with its own research and development department, the fire protection expert WAGNER has specialized in innovative solutions for value-focused and process-sensitive areas.

Data centers, computers, and IT rooms require special fire protection as such. So that the power does not have to be switched off in the event of a fire - data loss is inevitable - WAGNER offers fire-fighting systems based on gas extinguishing.

FirExting®, OxyReduct®

It starts before a fire can develop and protects against fire-related data loss and operational interruptions

FirExting® fights fires effectively and without leaving any residue. Depending on the requirements of the operator and the individual conditions on site, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and Novec 1230 are used as extinguishing gases.

Another way to actively prevent fires in data centers is the OxyReduct® fire prevention system. It starts before a fire can develop and protects against fire-related data loss and operational interruptions that endanger operations.

oxygen reduction

The oxygen content in the area to be protected is reduced below the ignition limit of the materials present there and kept at this level in a controlled manner.

The nitrogen required is generated from the ambient air as required. In combination with FirExting®, multi-stage fire protection concepts with rapid reduction are possible. Visitors to the WAGNER stand can experience how oxygen reduction works live on-site in an OxyReduct® cabin.

TITANUS® aspirating smoke detectors

The 44.45 mm high fire detector (one height unit) can be easily implemented and can optionally be extended

The basis of every fire protection solution is always an early fire detection system. TITANUS® aspirating smoke detectors detect the cause of fire up to 2,000 times faster than conventional point detectors.

The TITANUS RACK·SENS® has been specially developed for server cabinets. The 44.45 mm high fire detector (one height unit) can be easily implemented and can optionally be extended to include fire extinguishing.

fire protection solutions

Customers all over the world rely on the WAGNER Group's pioneering fire protection solutions. These include Imperial Automotive Logistics, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, NewCold, noris network, the British Library, Frankfurt Airport, Telekom, the Lower Saxony State Parliament, DARZ, BASF, and many others.

Trade visitors can obtain further information on the systems and WAGNER's innovative fire protection solutions at 360°dc joint stand D99 in Hall 12.
