Infographics launches Microsoft Teams app, Azure AD, and Office 365 integrations for fire service management solutions – empowering FRS professionals to execute tasks and workflows directly from their core productivity systems

Infographics, the fire service software, and Microsoft specialist, announces the launch of new Microsoft Teams and Office 365 integrations for its FireWatch and Prevent + Protect fire and rescue management and workflow suite. Secure and seamless user identity management via Azure Active Directory (AAD) integration is also now available with both solutions.

Simplifying user training

The launch includes apps and integrations for Infographics’ FireWatch and Prevent + Protect solutions, which will enable FRS tasks and workflows to be executed directly from within Office 365 or Microsoft Teams, including desktop and mobile. These are in addition to the FireWatch native App and Web client options – to help promote even greater collaboration and team working.

Key functions include enabling users to receive notifications, search for prevention and protection jobs and contacts, and complete tasks and approvals within Teams or O365. A FireWatch and Prevent + Protect 'Bot' can also respond to conversational questions and commands, simplifying user training and enhancing the flexibility of ‘user experience’ options. The Teams app is also optimized for mobile use, so FireWatch and Prevent + Protect users can interact with available features from anywhere, in the same environments where they can also communicate with their colleagues and team members.

Multi-Factor authentication

FireWatch and Prevent + Protect are leveraging the latest Microsoft technologies"

The Microsoft AAD identity management, also included, provides seamless and multi-factor authentication options, ensuring access to solutions is both simple and secure, with the ability to login via existing Microsoft O365 user account details.

Russell Wood, Commercial Manager at Infographics, said: “FireWatch and Prevent + Protect are leveraging the latest Microsoft technologies to deliver next-generation fire and rescue management solutions. We are providing a flexible, modern User Experience that can embed and integrate seamlessly within the latest wave of collaboration and productivity solutions from Microsoft being adopted by fire and rescue services. This includes Teams, conversational AI, Cloud technologies and Mobile Apps.”

Future market direction

With these new solutions in place, we are well-placed to assist fire and rescue services with their need to modernize their communication and productivity solutions in line with what – we believe – will be the future market direction and user expectations that come alongside greater levels of hybrid working.”

Infographics is running two separate webinars focused on their FireWatch and Prevent + Protect solutions, showcasing the new integrations for Microsoft Teams and O365. The FireWatch webinar takes place at 09:30 and the Prevent + Protect webinar takes place at 14:00, both on Tuesday 7 September.
