Incident Response Technologies, Inc. (IRT), makers of the Rhodium Incident Management Suite, have partnered with Rave Mobile Safety (Rave), developers of the critical communication and collaboration platform that customers count on when it matters most, to incorporate integration of the Rave Panic Button app into Rhodium Incident Management suite of solutions.

Rave Panic Button app

The Rave Panic Button app provides instant communications and situational awareness for emergencies to 9-1-1, on-site personnel and first responders, allowing for streamlined, immediate emergency response. As the nation’s most widely deployed safety application in schools, the Rave Panic Button will now activate Rhodium’s incident management system and provide dispatch, responders, and on-site personnel a way to instantly start populating information into the Rhodium interface.

Sharing and coordinating information as quickly as possible is at the foundation of emergency response,” said Jarret Winkelman, IRT President, adding “The integration between Rhodium and the Rave Panic Button app creates a tool that is unrivaled in its ability to expedite emergency response and incident management.

Integration with Rhodium Incident Management

The Rhodium suite integration enables pre-plans for certain types of incidents at specific facilities

The Rhodium suite integration enables pre-plans for certain types of incidents at specific facilities to be instantly called up when the Rave Panic Button app is used. Should an emergency occur at a specific location for which a plan exists, activating the Rave Panic Button will also automatically activate the response plan for on-site personnel, responders, and stakeholders within Rhodium.

This enhanced capability will be available to the nearly 10,000 school and government agencies in the United States that currently use the Rave Panic Button app. “Across all types of emergencies, seconds count and interoperability across emergency response systems is critical in ensuring a fast and effective response,” said Todd Miller, Rave Mobile Safety’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Critical communications and collaboration platform

Todd adds, “In welcoming IRT as the latest technology to leverage Rave’s award-winning critical communications and collaboration platform, we’re excited to advance the promise of interoperability for public safety.

Schools, campuses and public safety agencies nationwide are leveraging both Rhodium and the Rave Panic Button app in their ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Both solutions have also been used for fast response to incidents ranging from minor day-to-day medical emergencies to large scale emergency events.
