Hunter has designed and manufactured the EN14683 certified face cover that is tested for Type IIR fluid resistance and will remain antibacterial for 100 wash cycles. This makes the Hunter Ultra the protective, most sustainable face covering and is an outstanding example of Hunters' highly intuitive R&D.

The Hunter Ultra has been approved by the National Technical lead for PPE for the UK Procurement Hub and is included in the National Framework for Consumable PPE run in partnership between Kent Fire & Rescue and Hunter.

Key working organizations

The Hunter Ultra is now being used by 30 Emergency Services and key working organizations across the UK & Ireland where they have now replaced the usage of Type IIR disposable face masks outside of the medical environment as the Hunter Ultra is a much more sustainable solution without compromising on protection.

Benefits of the Hunter Ultra include:

  • Huge cost savings through no longer requiring large volumes of disposable single-use Type IIR face masks because the Hunter Ultra provides the same level of protection but at a fraction of the cost due to its 100-wash cycle lifespan.
  • Vastly reducing the environmental impact through disposing of Type IIR face masks.
  • The Hunter Ultra has an antibacterial lining to offer an added layer of protection.
  • The Hunter Ultra has a fabric flap on the nose bridge to prevent condensation from fogging up glasses and for a comfortable fit.
  • The Hunter Ultra can be manufactured in any color and comes with or without the logo/branding.
  • The Hunter Ultra is available in two sizes to ensure a comfortable fit for an entire diverse workforce.
