The new Black Eagle® Tactical 2.0 FL was put to the test and the results are in! HAIX® launched a wear test contest where 200 lucky winners were chosen to test out the new Black Eagle® Tactical 2.0 FL and give their honest impressions of the new boot.

Potential wear-testers must have been active in law enforcement and were chosen at random after signing up online. Wear test winners were asked to wear their boots on the job for 4-6 weeks, and then give their feedback. Feedback questions focused on comfort, durability, and slip resistance.

Lightweight and comfortable

The overwhelming majority found the boots to be lightweight and comfortable. Anyone who works in law enforcement knows how important it is that the boots be comfortable, especially when one could spend long hours on the feet. The fact that these boots are also highly rated as lightweight is just icing on the cake.

All responding wear-testers responded that the boot meets their uniform requirements

One wear tester commented that the Black Eagle® Tactical 2.0 FL was “…one of the most comfortable tall boots I’ve worn.” And all responding wear-testers responded that the boot meets their uniform requirements. So why should one sacrifice comfort to meet a uniform requirement?

CROSSTECH® inner liner

One thing that sets this boot apart is its CROSSTECH® inner liner. CROSSTECH® not only provides a breathable, waterproof barrier that keeps the feet dry and comfortable, but it also has an added layer of protection from dangers encountered in the law enforcement profession.

CROSSTECH® keeps one additionally protected from chemicals, blood, and body fluids. Over 94% of those surveyed felt it was important to have this added level of protection. Law enforcement can sometimes be a messy profession. As one wear tester responded, “No one wants something you step on penetrating your shoe and coming in contact with your skin.”

As a high-tech manufacturer of some of the highest quality footwear in the world, customers can trust that their HAIX® boots will protect their feet, keep them safe, and are made to last. All HAIX® boots are 100% manufactured in Europe from all European materials.
