HAAS Alert is thrilled to announce the addition of Rob Duckworth to the team as the company's new National DOT Sales Manager.

Rob will draw on his extensive past experiences in the highway safety space to bring Safety Cloud® digital alerting to fleets and roads managed by Departments of Transportation across the country.

Statewide training programs

Rob's lifelong passion for safety is reflected in his two decades of service in public safety and highway safety. Most recently, he was appointed by the Governor of Indiana to serve as the state's Director of the Office of Traffic Safety from 2018 to 2022.

During his time as Director, he served as a board member of the Governor’s Highway Safety Association

During his time as Director, he served as a board member of the Governor’s Highway Safety Association (GHSA) Executive Board and the National Child Passenger Safety Board (NCPSB) as a representative of GHSA. Prior, he led safety efforts as the Impaired Driving Training Coordinator for the State of Indiana, coordinating both statewide training programs of Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) and the Drug Evaluation Classification (DRE) Program.

Public safety career

During his public safety career, Rob also served as a deputy sheriff for 18 years, retiring at the rank of Captain in 2018 upon his appointment as the Traffic Safety Director. Diversified in EMS, he became a certified EMT in 1997 and a Paramedic in 2000, serving over 20 years in public safety in a variety of facets. He continues to volunteer at the community fire department, near where his family resides. He is a graduate of the 156th session of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and a graduate of the 2018 session of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s Leadership Academy.

With the addition of Rob Duckworth to the HAAS Alert team, the company continues to grow while staying true to its commitment to public safety and its vision of a collision-free world where everyone gets home safe. They're excited to welcome Rob to the team, and look forward to seeing him bring their message of connected safety to even more fleets nationwide.
