The Chubb FX ‘user-friendly’ range provides quick-release mechanisms and ergonomically redesigned handles
Chubb provides its latest Chubb FX range Hydrospray and CO2 fire extinguishers

Gravity London, the award-winning marketing communications agency, has chosen Chubb Fire & Security UK to protect its employees and essential graphic-design technology from fire. Chubb is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

Following a Fire Risk Assessment at Gravity’s new European headquarters in the City, Chubb recommended a combination of extinguisher types throughout the firm’s design studio and presentation suite. The recommendation included its latest Chubb FX range Hydrospray and CO2 fire extinguishers, the latter aimed specifically at managing electrical fires, a critical consideration given Gravity’s extensive IT assets.

The Chubb FX ‘user-friendly’ range provides quick-release mechanisms and ergonomically redesigned handles, levers and hose grips for intuitive activation. These features have not only improved fire safety ratings, the entire range has been designed for environmental safety and recycling at end-of-life.

“We looked at three different providers before opting for Chubb. Not only was the cost over the three-year contract extremely competitive, they were also the only firm who seemed to understand that the extinguishers needed to fit with us, rather than us with them,” said Sean Feast, director at Gravity London. “The extinguishers’ stylish chrome stands complement our agency’s modern design – attention to detail from Chubb that was very much appreciated.
