Kentucky fire department chooses OnSite ERT

ERT Systems, LLC, a leading provider of automated resource tracking systems for first responders, announced today that Grant County, Kentucky, has selected OnSite ERT as its primary accountability solution for firefighters.

Grant County represents about 150 firefighters serving a population of 25,000 across 260 square miles.

Each department will use OnSite ERT to automatically track and locate its firefighters and equipment when deployed at emergency events using wireless ID tags, portable receivers, and the PAR incident command software.

Also, as a county-wide deployment, OnSite ERT will provide automatic interoperability between departments at mutual-aid events, streamlining response and improving post-incident reporting and performance analysis.
