Glen Echo Fire Department and Santa are pleased to announce the 2020 “Santa Run” schedule. This year, Santa will be visiting from December 14th to December 23rd. As with years past, Santa will do everything he can to make sure he visits each neighborhood on the appointed dates, but this year he wants to make doubly sure everyone stays warm and safe. Some modifications have been made to help protect all of you, as well as Santa and his helpers:

  • Santa asks that they wave from the home and not congregate on sidewalks.
  • Santa is social distancing this year and, as much as he would like to spend time with each of you, he is unable to stop during the visit. He is, however, looking forward to seeing so please wave and cheer for the Holidays from the homes without congregating on the sidewalks or along the roadway. If cannot see Santa from home and do choose to venture out are strongly encouraged to wear masks and socially distance.
  • Santa and his helpers will not be able to accept gifts or donations during the event. Donations can be mailed to the Glen Echo Fire Department (due to COVID restrictions, ask that do not drop gifts at the station).
