In addition to the predominantly software manufacturer, G-TEC was also represented as an engineering office with a trade fair stand at the buildingSMART eV joint stand.

G-TEC’s VR application on exhibit at digitalBAU 2020

G-TEC’s contribution to the topic of digitization was the VR application

G-TEC’s contribution to the topic of digitization was the VR application, which is already used in the planning phase as a presentation and communication tool. A successfully completed project was presented here - the new construction of the Gerhart-Hauptmann elementary school in Heilbronn.

In addition to planning with BIM, the VR glasses were used here as an additional service, as part of quality assurance. A great added value for all those involved in planning and the cooperation.

buildingSMART Forum

The project and the approach were also presented as part of the buildingSMART Forum at the trade fair by G-TEC’s employee - Annika Hunloh, who accompanied the project as BIM Manager.
