Chubb Systems has been successful in obtaining approved supplier status for the rail sector following a recent audit under the RISQS (Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) verification system. 

RISQS is the supplier pre-qualification scheme that verifies if a company has the required capabilities and processes in place to deliver the expected quality and safety-focused level of service for the rail sector. 

Approved Supplier

The scheme provides visibility of Chubb Systems as an approved supplier to buyers of all products and services throughout the UK rail industry, including Network Rail and London Underground. The scheme is managed by the rail industry’s own independent body, RSSB (Rail Safety and Standards Board). 

Being an approved supplier provides buying entities with the confidence that Chubb Systems has the accreditation to supply, install, design, commission, maintain, overhaul, modify and decommission Station Information & Surveillance Systems (SISS), Security, and Telecoms systems on UK Rail Infrastructure locations. 

Certified under the Sentinel Scheme

Entry into the Rail sector further enhances Chubb Systems’ Transportation contribution Chubb Systems are now certified under the Sentinel scheme to sponsor the workforce to operate in the trackside environment.

Safety, as it is to Chubb Systems, is paramount to the rail industry, and equipping the workforce with the required knowledge and protocols was a commitment that the business was keen to make.
