MyFSL allows customers to access pricing information through a PC, or from remote locations via smartphones or tablets |
FSL, the expert in fire suppression system manufacturing, has received a wealth of positive feedback for its pioneering MyFSL online quotation tool. Launched in 2014 as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to exceptional service provision, it allows customers to instantaneously access pricing information through a PC, or from remote locations via smartphones or tablets.
Designed to be incredibly user friendly, after entering in the dimensions of the area to be protected and the type of fire suppression system they desire, customers receive a price within seconds from FSL. This makes the whole quotation process far more efficient and effective, saving time and additional administration.
Unanimously positive feedback
FSL is delighted with the uptake of the online quotation tool and feedback has been unanimously positive. One regular user is David Shelmerdine, Designer Estimator at Nobel Fire Systems, who commented, ‘The FSL online quotation tool allows fast and accurate quote generation, with options to include additional and varying elements to suit the specifics of the project. It ensures that we are able provide our customers with the highest level of service and speed of response, something that is vital in our business.’
This sentiment was shared by fellow user Nishanth Kakken, Sales Manager at Kidde Qatar, who added, ‘I’ve been using this facility for nearly six months and I was instantly impressed with its simplicity. It is now easier than ever for me to generate a basic fire suppression system bill of materials for a project and would recommend it to anyone who needs this type of information quickly.’
Customers access to an exclusive Internet portal
The quotation tool is part of FSL’s growing range of MyFSL online services that offer pre-qualified customers access to an exclusive Internet portal. Here they can access specific information relating to their activities, geographical location and product approval system – whether Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), or both. This helps improve the overall user experience and allows individuals to obtain information such as product specifications on the company’s diverse range of clean agent inert and chemical gaseous fire protection systems quickly and easily.
David Adkins, FSL’s Managing Director, concluded, ‘Simple yet effective, the online quotation tool has proven to be a real success story, with many industry professionals now using it on a day to day basis. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to offering forward thinking ways of doing business and maximising the vast potential of the Internet.’
