FoxFury’s upgraded LED headlamps to be on display at FDIC 2013
FoxFury also announced that Tasker models are being retired and replaced by Tasker S models

FoxFury recently announced lumen upgrades for select Command 10, Command 20 and Performance Series LED head and helmet lights. These top selling LED headlamps for general, industrial and firefighter use are now 20% brighter.

FoxFury has offered wide angle LED headlamps since 2003. Among its bestselling lights are the Fire, Tasker and Tasker S models within the Command and Performance Series. These headlamps enable hands-free operation and provide panoramic lighting.

In addition to lumen upgrades, FoxFury is also announcing that Tasker models (elastic strap only) are being retired and replaced by Tasker S models that utilize both elastic and silicone straps.

Command Series headlamps vary by LED number and LED color. 10 LED models are part of the Command 10 Series while 20 LED models are part of the Command 20 Series. Command Series models were upgraded as follows:

  • Command 10 Fire: 48 lumens
  • Command 10 Tasker S: 48 lumens
  • Command 20 Fire: 72 lumens
  • Command 20 Tasker S: 72 lumens
  • Command 20 Wildland Fire: 70 lumens

The Performance Series utilizes 24 LEDs. The intrinsically safe helmet light models (for use in hazardous areas) are the most popular and are used in chemical plants, refineries, confined space and HazMat. The models below have been upgraded:

  • Performance Fire: 82 lumens
  • Performance Tasker S: 82 lumens
  • Performance Intrinsic Tasker: 54 lumens
  • Performance Intrinsic Tasker-Fire: 50 lumens

"Advancements in LED technology allow us to upgrade lumens in our lights. These brighter headlamps and helmet lights will make it easier to get the job done," said Mario Cugini, CEO of FoxFury.
