The additions and improvements to FLAME-SIM add to the realism as well as the effectiveness of the training software. New features include a new heat interface and the ability to turn on/off the command panel and message text.

FLAME-SIM will showcase the latest additions to its 3D real-time simulation software at the Fire Department Instructor Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis. The additions and improvements to FLAME-SIM add to the realism as well as the effectiveness of the training software. The unveiling of the added functionality can be seen at FLAME-SIM Booth # 5145 as well as during a classroom session Friday, March 25th from 9 am to 5 pm in the Senate 2 Conference Room at The Westin Indianapolis.

Over the past three years as FLAME-SIM has grown, the company has collected feedback from users across the US and Canada; comments and suggestions have been compiled and integrated into the simulation software. New features include a new heat interface and the ability to turn on/off the command panel and message text; additionally, the water supply time is more accurately calculated/displayed based upon hose selection and tank size. These add-ons will be distributed to all FLAME-SIM users, at no additional cost to them, after the tradeshow.

If you are interested in checking out the additions to the software, the new features have also been added to the Interactive Demonstration that will be available for download after FDIC. Also the Interactive Demo now includes positive pressure ventilation, wall fire, and compatibility with Windows 7 and 64 Bit operating systems. You can pick up an Interactive Demonstration Disc at the FLAME-SIM Booth!
