FIREX International is delighted to announce that Nest Labs, the architect of the thoughtful home, will be exhibiting at its 2016 event this June. Nest‘s mission is to create a home that‘s thoughtful - one that takes care of itself and the people inside it - and will be showcasing the very latest in design in technology at the only event that connects the fire and security markets.

Taking place from 21-23 June 2016 at London’s ExCeL, FIREX International will once again host the leading suppliers and associations offering the latest cutting-edge solutions and essential knowledge to ensure life safety.

Re-invention of smoke alarm

In addition to exhibiting at FIREX International, Lionel Paillet, General Manager of Europe for Nest will be speaking within the FIREX Expertise and Guidance Theatre. In his session Lionel will talk about how technology is reinventing the unloved smoke alarm. From self-testing to mobile alerts to split-spectrum sensors, he will explain why a beep is no longer enough, and how fire prevention is being reinvented for a whole new generation of consumers.

FIREX International will run from 21-23 June in 2016 and will once again be presented as part of UBM EMEA’s Protection & Management Series, the UK’s largest event dedicated to protecting and managing property, people and information. The series incorporates major events including IFSEC International along with FIREX International, Facilities Show, Safety & Health Expo and Service Management Expo. The series of events annually attract more than 40,000 attendees over three days to ExCeL London, in 2016 the series will run from 21 -23 June.
