Thanks to member feedback, the new membership scheme offers FPA members additional benefits such as access to the Business Property and Protection Portal which produces a risk report for any business type in the UK, the Cladding Compliance Toolkit created by RISC Authority, which aims to help users understand the complex legislative fire safety requirements of external building cladding systems, and easier access to resources such as our popular Assembly Point Podcast.

Launch of a CPD Record Tool

The new scheme also sees the launch of a brand new CPD Record Tool enabling members to keep track of their CPD hours, which they can save digitally or download via a PDF. Furthermore, members can look forward to an updated FPA member certificate and logo for inclusion in their marketing materials to demonstrate their professional interest in fire safety.

And there's more to come in the new year:

  • Fire Detection and Alarms Handbook
  • Training aids
  • 2022 Schedule of live webinars via our new and improved webinar platform
  • Easier access to guidance documents via an e-reader

User licenses

Current members will automatically be allocated their new category based on how many user licenses they have.

FPA Head of Training and Digital Services, Claire Wright said, “As the UK’s pioneering fire safety organization, we are committed to providing our members with the most comprehensive fire safety news, advice, training, and resources. We are very excited to launch our improved membership scheme which offers members a host of additional benefits to support them in their fire safety roles and connect them with other fire safety professionals.”
