Fire Equipment Inc. (FEI) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Tri-State Fire Protection of Smithfield Rhode Island. Tri-State Fire Protection is a globally renowned sprinkler installation and service business, which serves the US states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Full-service fire protection business

FEI announced that the employee team at Tri-State will be joining the FEI family and will be retaining the Smithfield office location. Steve Pelletier, who resides in the Smithfield area and has many years’ experience in the fire protection industry, has been appointed to the position of General Manager for the Smithfield office.

The Tri-State team will be expanding to a full-service fire protection business, building on the solid base already in place with a successful team of professionals. Fire Equipment Inc. is a full service fire protection business serving all of the US state of New England, with its headquarters located in Medford, Massachusetts and offices in West Springfield and Hyannis, Massachusetts and now in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
