Fire-Dex has recently hired three new associates and continues to seek new talent as the company experiences tremendous growth while strengthening corporate culture among team members.

Kelsey McKinley, Contract Administrator, Holly Banos, Territory Sales Representative, and Dan Maynard, Supply Chain Coordinator, have all started in recent weeks. 

Acknowledging corporate culture

"We’re very excited to welcome Kelsey, Holly, and Dan to the Fire-Dex Family,” states Jamie Marks, Human Resources Manager. “Transitioning to a hybrid-working company has allowed us to broaden our reach and recruit more talent across the United States, allowing us to provide more first responders with live-saving PPE.”

Over the past few years, Lauren and Taylor have invested significant time and resources

Being a family business with two women leaders (Lauren DeVere, President of Fire-Dex, and Taylor Gilman, President of Gear Wash), it is important for Fire-Dex to acknowledge that corporate culture is changing. Over the past few years, Lauren and Taylor have invested significant time and resources to provide associates with a sought-after culture that not only attracts but also retains top talent.

Strong virtual culture

These efforts include a strong virtual culture, allowing remote work across the country; core meeting hours and a no meeting day; a new paid maternity and paternity leave policy; encouragement of work/life balance, and more.

Part of my goal as President of Fire-Dex is to continually make the company more family focused and encourage changes our associates can rally behind and feel supported by,” states DeVere. “I am proud that we are able to offer these benefits to our team members and hope we can lead the way as an employer.
