Alan Locke has been appointed as the new head of sales by Fike Security Technology

Alan will have full responsibility for developing and implementing sales strategies for the UK and for world export markets. His initial focus will be on restructuring the Fike sales team in line with the principles of lean operation.

To support and further enhance the success of its fast-growing business, fire protection expert Fike Safety Technology has appointed Alan Locke as Head of UK and export sales. Alan has almost 20 years’ experience of working in senior management positions in the fire protection sector. Immediately prior to taking up his new appointment, he worked for Fike for two years in a technical sales role, where he acquired invaluable in-depth knowledge of the company, its products and its customers.

In his new role, Alan will have full responsibility for developing and implementing sales strategies for the UK and for world export markets. His initial focus will be on restructuring the Fike sales team in line with the principles of lean operation. This will identify and eliminate inefficiencies, thereby making time available to support the introduction of new products, to drive forward sales growth and to make further enhancements to the company’s already renowned customer service.

“This is a great time to be taking on the job of Head of Sales for Fike,” said Alan, “as the company is already growing strongly and is continuing to make big investments to drive even more growth. We have excellent products that offer outstanding performance, quality and value for money, and these are complemented by an ethical, responsive and enthusiastic business philosophy. As I see it, therefore, the possibilities for the future are unlimited!”
