FAW Bus & Coach Company to come
up with their fire trucks in the market

FAW Bus & Coach Company announced that it will start production of fire trucks in batch in its Changchun plant.

FAW Bus & Coach Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of FAW Group, announced it will start producing fire truck in batch in Changchun plant.

The truck was developed in collaboration with the Department of Public Security of Jilin province. The Company so far has received more than 100 fire truck orders coming from fire control departments of Jilin, Hunan, Zhejiang and Shandong province, in which 50 fire trucks will be delivered to Jilin in Jan 2011.

"Fire control departments in China used to import expensive fire trucks from foreign countries or modify regular trucks for fire-fighting. To make high quality and first class fire trucks, FAW Bus & Coach Company has done a lot for the design and production preparation for the mass-producing fire truck. These trucks would be much cheaper than imported models," said Zhao Fangkuan, FAW Group CPC Secretary, at the news release conference.
