Movie buffs and film lovers visiting the East-End Curzon Cinema Aldgate will now sit back and enjoy the latest feature in safety as well as style in the knowledge that Eurotech has installed the best in fire detection systems at the venue.
Products used for this installation are Teledata Touch Screen Panel, Apollo Intelligent Devices, Integra Public Address, and Voice Alarm System.
Fire alarm panel
Eurotech’s customers required a modern touchscreen fire alarm panel to complement the cinema’s modern and slick interior design aesthetic. This aesthetic requirement was also combined with the need for a fully addressable fire alarm system capable of complicated cause-and-effect programming and integration into a PAVA system.
The PAVA system is installer friendly, compact in size, and has a big system capacity
From these specific requirements, they instantly knew the only system to meet this specification was the Teledata Panel. Due to the opening hours of the cinema, the venue also required a fast install which was easily achievable as the system can be preprogrammed before attending the site and installing so the engineers could work on the system without being connected to the panel. The PAVA system is installer-friendly, compact in size, and has a big system capacity.
Fire detection needs
“We came to Eurotech with a detailed specification of our fire detection needs, both technical and aesthetic so it would seamlessly fit in with the feel of our cinema. The team weren’t phased by our long list of requirements and quickly and efficiently found the best solution to fit the bill and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.”
Due to the nature of the site (cinema), management does not want to disturb/evacuate the cinema and stop the film screenings for any false alarms. To reduce the risk of this, multiple delays and scenarios have been worked into the cause-and-effect programming of the Teledata Panel system.
