Eurotect fire systems limited ready to distribute fire detectors in Oman
Eurotech Fire Systems Ltd has now received approval to release its fire detection product in Oman

Eurotech has gained Civil Defence approval from Oman for its fire detection systems, establishing its first distribution network in the Middle East.

Four months after appointing Muscat-based fire systems specialist, Al Jazia Trading LLC, as its exclusive distributor in the Sultanate, Eurotech Fire Systems Ltd has now received approval to release its first order of fire detection products and accessories to Oman.

The news comes as Eurotech continues to sign up new partnerships around the world, including Turkey, Dubai, South Africa, Hong Kong and Vietnam. However, the deal with Al Jazia is the first in the heart of the Middle East.

As with all of its global distributors, the products will be supplied under Eurotech MESH – The Combined Protocol. This provides independent installers with fully-approved, single brand detection technology without being tied to the manufacturer for all system components or long-term maintenance contracts.

Eurotech Managing Director, Michelle Agius, was delighted with the approval. “Although this is a legal requirement to allow us to export to Oman, it also establishes Eurotech’s presence in the Middle East. This has happened very quickly since we appointed Al Jazia and is an indication of their enthusiasm for the Eurotech brand. I’m certain this will be the start of a successful and fruitful partnership.”

Mr Rathnakura Achari, of Al Jazia, added: “We are very pleased to now be able to distribute such high quality products in Oman. The Eurotech brand, using the Evolution Protocol, will ensure that leading-edge fire detection technology is available throughout the region, offering the best possible chance of saving Omani lives, buildings and businesses in the event of a fire.”
