Gaseous fire extinguishing systems are the preferred option for business critical areas such as data centres, server rooms, telecommunications rooms
Firetec Systems offers a wide range of inert and chemical gas based solutions

Firetec Systems used this year’s FIREX International to introduce itself to visitors and delegates as the new name in active fire protection excellence and expertise.

Initially focusing on gaseous fire suppression systems, this new organisation is evolving  from Berkshire based Eurotech Fire Protection, and is part of Nitin Fire Protection Industries - a leading name in fire protection throughout India, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Asia and Europe for over 25 years.

Headed up by well-known and respected industry figure, David Adkins, Firetec Systems intends to make customers its top priority.  He commented, “By operating at the cutting edge of product development and service provision, we are developing new and innovative strategies that will meet and exceed the demands of those requiring active fire protection.

For example, we know that many companies are keen to reduce their impact on the environment and we aim to help them achieve their objectives in this area by putting sustainability at the forefront of all our activities.”

With 29 years of experience, Adkins previously held senior management roles within leading organisations in the fire industry.  Joining him at Firetec Systems are a number of other well- known faces from the active fire protection sector, including Keith Goodall as its engineering director. A chartered engineer who has worked in senior roles within the industry for over 40 years, Goodall is also a member of The Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Also joining the company is John Sellens, whose previous position was with UTC Fire and Security as its managing director where, based in the UAE, he was responsible for sales into Russia, Central Europe, Middle East and Central Asia. Sellens has an enviable level of industry knowledge, which he will use to expand Firetec Systems’ presence in a wide variety of different territories.  Maggie Gilbert will head up marketing activities at Firetec Systems and has extensive experience of marketing active fire protection systems.

Firetec Systems offers a wide range of inert and chemical gas based solutions. Gaseous fire extinguishing systems are the preferred option for business critical areas such as data centres, server rooms, telecommunications rooms, electrical switchgear and plant rooms, as well as other vulnerable locations where fast protection without water damage is essential.

David Adkins concluded; “We are thoroughly looking forward to welcoming visitors to stand 3Q4 at FIREX International. Our team will be on hand to talk through our range of solutions, explain the many benefits of working with Firetec Systems and discuss our exciting plans for the future.”
