For security and holdup system the EN 50131-1 has been the base for alarm system for intrusion and holdup for a long time. New technologies and applications are available which can have a benefit for the products and services Euralarm can provide to the end-users.

At this moment the EN50131-1 is open for revision and Euralarm wants work with their members and other stakeholders from the security industry to see if and how they can include these new technologies in the standards. It will ensure that going forwards the EN50131 will stay relevant for the end-users, alarm response and insurance companies and with that also for the industry.

Common Interests Security And Fire Sectors

Euralarm is planning a round table debate on the upcoming revision which is planned on 4th of February 2020 from 10am – 12:30pm with a lunch to follow in Brussels. Euralarm would also like to invite the roundtable participants to attend the afternoon’s members common section meeting which is planned after lunch, which will provide an opportunity for you to listen to common interests across the Security and Fire sectors.
