Security Essen 2010

Esser ready to flaunt its new products at Security 2010 in Essen.

Beyond its well-proven Esser-branded products, Novar GmbH located at Neuss, Germany will showcase many innovations in fire detection technology and voice alarm systems at the industry's main trade fair this year, security 2010 in Essen, Germany from 5th to the 8th October in Hall 3, Stand 211.

ESSER is the first and only manufacturer to fulfill all requirements of the EN 54-3 for acoustic speech signaling devices and fire detectors with speech function; moreover, new digital class D amplifiers expand the already comprehensive voice alarm product portfolio. The market shows a clear trend towards integration in fire detection technology. The new DIN 0833-4 standard has strongly encouraged the merging of both disciplines. ESSER has once again proven its high competence level in this area with the successful implementation of full redundancy in networked fire alarm and voice alarm systems.

The new Esser bus FCT transponder provides extensive possibilities for actuating fire control systems but more innovative products are to be referred to:

  • Individually addressable IQ8Quad ATEX detectors for use in explosive atmospheres
  • IQ8Quad OTG detectors with additional technical alarm threshold
  • Changeover 12 V/ 24 V external power supply
  • New range of fire department key depositories
  • Aspirating smoke detectors for use in difficult environments

Beside the exhibition of products, visitors will also have the opportunity to test all new developments hands-on and to get a look at the future possibilities in the field of the fire detection technology.
