ERT Systems LLC has announced that Englewood, that the NJ Fire Department has selected OnSite ERT as its accountability solutionERT Systems, LLC, announced today that the Englewood, NJ Fire Department has selected OnSite ERT as its accountability solution.

The department, which applied for and was awarded a 2008 Assistance to Firefighter Grant (AFG) specifically for OnSite ERT, will use the system to automatically track and locate firefighters and equipment on scene at emergency events using its Incident Command software, wireless ID tags, and portable receivers.

The Englewood Fire Department operates 10 emergency vehicles, has 55 responders, and serves a population of 28,000 in a 5 square-mile territory.
