Thousands are expected to attend the popular Emergency Services Show 2023, which takes place later in July 2023, at Roundhay Park, in Leeds, UK.
On July 29, visitors will fill the park’s Soldiers Playing Field, where they can see police, fire, and ambulance crews, alongside the Royal British Legion, local councils, and armed forces, including the British Army.
Event timings
The event, which runs from 11 am to 4 pm, will also have police dogs, the fire service band, fairground rides, donkeys, craft stalls, food, and vintage police and fire vehicles.
All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the Fire Fighters Charity. “The Emergency Services Show is a great opportunity to showcase what our services do in a fun way,” said Sarah Goodall, Watch Manager and Charity Representative at West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (WYFRS).

She continues, “The show promises to have something for everyone with emergency service vehicles, rides, stalls, and much more. There will be opportunities to learn about how each service works and local councils will be there to highlight several interesting projects they’ve been working on.”

Wakefield Council will be attending and sharing the water safety video they launched recently. Also, the Yorkshire & Humber Regional Cyber Crime Team will be there with their state-of-the-art Cyber Community Engagement Van ‘Cyber Blue Line’.
Sarah Goodall said, “Families can also enjoy donkey rides and grab some delicious food from one of the many vendors. This is an amazing chance to get a close look at those who serve our communities every day while having fun with friends and family.”
