Emergency Reporting (ER), the globally renowned company in cloud-based Fire and EMS records management software solutions, has announced a partnership with Spotted Dog Technologies, a global provider of incident response management solutions.

Security technology partnership

The relationship will allow data captured by Rover, Spotted Dog Technologies’ CAD-to-mobile response system, to be automatically added to Emergency Reporting’s data platform, for advanced reporting and analysis.

We’re delighted to be working with Spotted Dog Technologies, to help Fire and EMS agencies gain access to the data collected through Rover, on incident response,” said Dave Adams, Sr. Director of Business Development for Emergency Reporting.

He adds, “This will speed and simplify the entry of call records into the ER system, and give our mutual customers more complete information on every event.

Rover, CAD-to-mobile response system

Rover, Spotted Dog Technologies’ CAD-to-mobile response system, facilitates critical two-way communication between Fire, EMS (Emergency Medical Services) and other first response agencies, and their first responders, in order to help manage and mobilize personnel and resources, in the first crucial minutes of an incident.

The system transmits complete and accurate information to first responders, such as site details, incident severity, maps of hydrants and hazards, and turn-by-turn navigation. Using the Rover mobile app, responders can instantly relay their availability, qualification, and estimated time of arrival.

Turning data into actionable intelligence

Emergency Reporting’s comprehensive tools can turn this data into actionable intelligence, to create NEMSIS- and NFIRS-compliant run reports, and operational benchmarks, improve response times, track goals and compliance.
