The guide contains helpful tips and advice on how leaders in the fire service can build a volunteer recruitment program, which maximizes their agency’s resources and expands the reach that they have within their communities. It includes information on how to develop a successful marketing campaign, as well as specific strategies, to get more recruits interested in joining the department.
“We know that many fire departments today are facing numerous staffing challenges, especially when it comes to recruiting volunteer firefighters,” said Andrea Hayes, Marketing Manager at Emergency Reporting.
