The Eclipse is the industry's smallest and lightest thermal imager, weighing 1.5 pounds
12 Bullard Eclipse thermal imagers were donated to 12 fire departments throughout St. Louis and  Missouri

Twelve Bullard Eclipse thermal imagers are now in the hands of firefighters in 12 fire departments throughout the St. Louis, Missouri region, thanks to a generous donation from Eagle Bank and Trust Company of Missouri. The Eclipse, which Bullard introduced two years ago, is the fire service industry's first personal-issue thermal imager.

Eagle Bank and Trust donated the imagers in honor of the bank's 100th Anniversary. "We are excited to support our local communities by investing in their safety and the safety of those firefighters who work so tirelessly to protect them," says Mike Walsh, president and chief executive officer of Eagle Bank and Trust. "With this donation, we're celebrating the bank's anniversary while giving back to the communities we serve."

The Eclipse is the industry's smallest and lightest thermal imager, weighing 1.5 pounds it easily fits into the palm of a firefighter's hand making it perfectly-suited as a navigational tool. "Bullard is proud that Eagle Bank and Trust chose to equip firefighters in St. Louis with our state-of-the-art Eclipse thermal imagers," said John Hays, Bullard's Product Line Manager for Emergency Responders.

Missouri has been ranked as the tenth deadliest state with an average of 120 fire deaths annually. However, most of these deaths can be prevented. The use of thermal imagers is one way firefighters can better protect themselves while saving lives. The 12 fire stations in the St. Louis area benefiting from the donation are located in Afton, Arnold, Brentwood, Cedar Hill, Chippewa, DeSoto, Festus, High Ridge, Hillsboro, Kirkwood, Manchester and Perryville.
