Ambitious sustainability agenda

Katarina Lindström, Group Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, comments: “I’m very pleased to welcome someone of Dorthe’s caliber to the team. We want to do even more to help our customers achieve their sustainability goals and work with governments, academia and other organizations to set an ambitious sustainability agenda for the industry. Dorthe is the ideal person to lead this work.”

Dorthe has extensive experience within sustainability and government affairs

Dorthe has extensive experience within sustainability and government affairs and has held leading positions at a number of companies, including Vestas, Nike and Bestseller. As Head of Hempel’s Sustainability and Government Affairs team, Dorthe will lead the development and implementation of Hempel’s global sustainability and government affairs agendas, with primary focus on Hempel’s value chain and a more proactive approach to government affairs.

Reducing maintenance requirements

Dorthe comments: “I’m pleased and excited to be joining Hempel at this time. Coatings are essential to sustainability as they extend the useful lifetime of structures, buildings, equipment and other assets, and reduce maintenance requirements.”
