The UK’s composite door manufacturer, door-stop International announces the launch of its new glazed fire door side panels.

The third-party audited by CERTIFIRE, the side panels are available in nine frame colors and three glass styles, providing the perfect partner to a door-stop fire door.

Fire safety requirements

The new addition has been designed to complement the fire door range launched in 2016 The new addition has been designed to complement the fire door range, which was successfully launched in 2016, giving specifiers even more options to meet fire safety requirements without compromising on aesthetics.

The side panels have been fully tested to FD30 standards and come with a seven-day delivery turnaround.

Fire door regulations

Patrick Dean, Head of Sales and Marketing at door-stop, said, “Our side panels adhere to all of the same regulations as the fire door range. Rather than relying on global assessments, we have taken the steps to physically burn all side panel combinations as a complete door set, to test their spread of fire capabilities.”

Fire door and side panels not only save lives, but they can also look good too. In fact, our new fire door side panels can be selected with frosted glass, which has a more modern and expensive feel than the usual offering of clear or wired aesthetics. What’s more, the doors are available in all of our contemporary colors, including Chartwell Green and Anthracite Grey.”

Door-stop will continue to innovate, developing new products and services, and value the continued feedback and support of the customers.
