Fusion Advanced team made a big impact on the Australian market by installing its fire systems in some of the high profile developments
Fusion Advanced has a complete wireless and wired device range, is easily networked and via an extensive peripheral range

Fusion Advanced, one of Australia’s leading fire systems businesses has rebranded marking the final step in its integration with global fire systems manufacturer, Advanced.

Fusion Advanced started life as Fusion Fire Systems in 2007, delivering world class expertise and know-how to the Australian market. It became part of the Advanced business in 2012, when it was renamed Fusion Advanced.

The Fusion Advanced team has made a big impact on the Australian market, seeing its systems installed in some of the continent’s most high profile developments such as the AU$1.1 billion Westfield Sydney and the 243-metre Soul Building in Surfers Paradise, Queensland. It became the first in Australia to have its entire product range certified to the latest JAS-ANZ standards by SAI Global, including AS4428.3 2010 as laid down in the Building Code of Australia.

Richard Hitchman, MD of Fusion Advanced, said: “We became Fusion Advanced in 2012 and this rebrand brings us into line with the Advanced global brand, and maintains the equity we’ve built up in the Fusion name. At Fusion Advanced we are dedicated to meeting the unique requirements of the Australian market and are investing more than ever into R&D, to deliver systems that continue to set the standard for technology, quality and reliability.”

Advanced is a market leader in intelligent fire systems, delivering the highest quality products in more than 60 countries worldwide. Its systems hold global approvals and are tailored to individual markets. In Australia, Fusion Advanced’s Axis AU system is AS1670 & AS7240 approved. It has a complete wireless and wired device range, is easily networked and via an extensive peripheral range can be customised for almost any installation.

Ray Hope, managing director of Advanced, said: “Fusion has been an important partner for Advanced for many years. In most markets we trade simply as Advanced, but we felt that the Fusion name brought with it a very strong heritage which we we’re keen to maintain. The team at Fusion Advanced is at the top of their game and we’re delighted they are part of the Advanced family.”
