Have users avoided having an intruder alarm as they think it will be difficult to use it day to day? Think it will be complicated and take the user much longer to leave the house in the morning?

A.P.E have a wide range of end-users, varying in age and technical ability. Its systems are easy to use and it will help users learn all the basics of the system.  A.P.E also have a range of elderly customers who can use their security alarm systems with just as much ease.

How can A.P.E help?

A.P.E provides 24/7 over-the-phone engineer assistance to anyone who has a maintenance contract

When the alarm system is installed/ taken over by A.P.E, it will teach users the basics of using the system. Setting and un-setting the system will be part of the everyday use of the alarm system.

After the initial run-through of the alarm system, A.P.E provides 24/7 over-the-phone engineer assistance to anyone who has a maintenance contract with them. This service can be extremely helpful for both customers and their team as it can help solve many issues on the phone and if unable to, A.P.E can often diagnose the problem to know what parts, etc it will need to repair the issue.

What code will I have to use?

A.P.E will help users to set a code for the alarm that is memorable to users and their families/staff. This is important because users do not want difficult or random code as this often leads to having to write the code down near the panel. This makes the alarm ineffective as an intruder could easily disarm the alarm if the code is written nearby.

Additionally, the code should not be something easy such as 1234. For business intruder alarms it may be preferred to have fobs or cards to unset the alarm to not have to continually change the code if people leave or people forget.
